Bar 1200
Formerly called the Whiskey Bar, Bar 1200 is located off the hotel's lobby, and is exclusive to musicians and hotel guests. U2, Aerosmith, and The Rolling Stones have been regulars.
Nightbird Recording Studio at the Sunset Marquis
The onsite recording studio is popular with the plentiful music industry clientele, and contributes to the hotel's happening, rock-and-roll social scene.

The Sunset Marquis Hotel and Villas understands the importance of every guest's privacy, and with only one entrance and one exit to the property, this hideaway is the perfect place to relax and unwind.
The Sunset Marquis Hotel has a large outdoor pool which is popular for swimming, sunbathing, and alfresco dining. A second, smaller pool, located across the gardens, offers extra privacy. The state-of-the-art sound studio with commercial recording capability may be reserved for rental by the day, week, or longer.
Formerly 'The Whiskey Bar', the new Bar 1200 - located off the hotel's main lobby - is a private hideaway and celebrity hotspot. This small, dimly lit bar and outdoor heated courtyard is reserved exclusively for hotel guests and invited regulars. Some guests stay here just to hang out at the bar!
